Packaging of Halva veria with chocolate by Dsam

Halva Veria with Chocolate by DSAM

I bought this handmade Halva Veria with Chocolate by DSAM in duty free shop in Heraklion airport. It was one of the most expensive halvas which I saw there (having in mind a ratio between the price and the weight). Despite the “souvenir like” packaging, my intuition strongly adviced to try it anyway, mostly because it was a handmade halva. And this choice did not let me down!

Halva Veria with Chocolate by DSAM was amazing! For me it was one of the best Greek halvas, which I ate. At first, when I opened the packaging, I found a quite small & thin piece of halva, which looked not so promising. But I loved this treat from the the very first bit. It had such a superb taste! Slightly bitter, not very sweet, with a tender flavor of chocolate. Every piece of it just melted in the mouth and tempted me to prolong this gourmet pleasure. It was so hard to stop eating!

I liked the texture of this dessert, too. It was quite wet, yet a little bit powdery, I could easily cut it. So, this handmade Halva Veria with Chocolate by DSAM met all my expectations about it in the most delicious way. Strongly recommended to everyone.
