Packaging of Macedonian halva with almonds (chocolate coated)

Macedonian Halva with Almonds (Chocolate Coated) by Haitoglou Bros. (est. 1924)

Macedonian Halva with Almonds (Chocolate Coated) is pretty much the same as Macedonian Halva with Almonds by Haitoglou Bros., which was reviewed before. Undoubtedly, this is a delicious treat and the additional chocolate coating makes it even more enjoyable. However, have in mind that after you take out the piece of this halva from the packaging, you could hardly put it back 🙂 The chocolate coating looks & tastes nice, but it quickly starts to melt in the sunshine or in higher room temperature.

So I think that Macedonian Halva with Almonds (Chocolate Coated) is perfect as a sweet dessert, which could be served for some bigger company. But this one has quite unsuitable shape if you intend to cherish yourself with it few days in a row. Also, because of quite crumbly texture this halva was not so good for cutting.

Nevertheless I admit that Haitoglou Bros. did a fine tuning of Macedonian Halva with Almonds with such chocolate coated version. The taste is just great and it would definitely make happy a bunch of halva lovers!
