Packaging of Tahini halva with pistachio by Tunas

Tahini Halva with Pistachio by Tunas (est. 1989)

Tahini Halva with Pistachio by Tunas stood out on the shelve because of very intense color of the packaging. But the taste of it was not outstanding in a good sense. This halva was rich of Antep pistachios, a little bit crunchy and quite sweet. The texture was solid and integral, so it had a pretty look.

Nevertheless, Tahini Halva with Pistachio by Tunas did not fascinate me. Why? I‘d say, mostly because of the some odd bitter aftertaste which I didn‘t like. Anyway, if you are keen on halva with pistachio nuts, this one could be worth of trying.
