Packaging of Sebahat helva with vanilla flavour

Helva with Vanilla Flavour by Sebahat (est. 1987)

On the shelve of the local Turkish shop Helva with Vanilla Flavour by Sebahat distinguished only because of the very unimaginative packaging. But the cashier kindly urged me to try it, so I decided to follow his recommendations. And I was pleasantly surprised by this halva bar.

In general it resembled usual Turkish halva, but I noticed a slight difference – the much milder savour. I mean that it was sweet, but not so bitter as usual tahini halva. Soft and integral texture was another appreciated attribute.

It turned out that Sebahat surprised me with a little bit different version of Turkish halva. Can‘t say I liked this bar of Helva with Vanilla Flavour very much, but I could recommend it to others. You may love this treat.
