My sister expanded the geographic range of reviewed halva when she brought me a package of Sesame Halva Vanilla by Bul-Tat from Bulgaria. As this country is located near the Turkey, it‘s no surprise that this treat was quite similar to usual Turkish halva. I mean its rich and strong taste, also – the balance of sweetness and bitterness. But it seemed maybe too sweet and the texture was too gummy, so I can‘t praise it very much.
Anyway, this Bulgarian halva was quite good. So I would recommend you to try it yourselves. Maybe you will appreciate Sesame Halva Vanilla by Bul-Tat much more than I did. It‘s especially worth of attention if you like sweet halva.
