Can of Olympos Halva Pistache

Olympos Halva Pistache by Papayianni Bros (est. 1949)

On the whole, Olympos Halva Pistache by Papayianni Bros impressed me in a big way. Its taste was just breathtaking! I guess that such bittersweet delight might please even the most discerning sweet tooth. As this halva was sealed in the can, all of its qualities have been perfectly preserved. Therefore I had an amazing feeling like I was tasting the just made treat. Believe me, the smell and the flavor of each crumbly bit of Olympos Halva Pistache simply put me on cloud nine, figuratively speaking 🙂

Even so I spotted two minor flaws. Because of quite dry and brittle texture it was a really challenging task to take out the intact slice of that halva for taking picture of it. (Here I want to remark that for me the taste has a priority, that’s for sure, but you may give more importance to such detail.) Also I missed more of pistachios in this halva. There were enough of them to make me sense some lovely nutty savor, but Papayianni Bros should add extra handful of these nuts, I think 🙂 Then Olympos Halva Pistache would be a luxury dessert indeed and I could rate it with 5 stars instead of 4 and a half!
