Packaging of Sunflower Halva with Vanilla and Chocolate Coating by Zolotoj Vek

Sunflower Halva with Vanilla and Chocolate Coating by Zolotoi Vek (est. 1998)

Sunflower halva is not among my favourites, mostly because I don‘t like the taste of sunflower oil. But when I found small bars of Sunflower Halva with Vanilla and Chocolate Coating produced by Zolotoi Vek in a local supermarket, I decided to try. The packaging looked lovely (sort of candy like) and the price was funny low, so I thought, why not?

And this halva did not disappoint me! Of course, chocolate coating seemed unnecessary and its appearance wasn‘t great, but I have to admit that chocolate added some extra flavor to the overall taste. It was really sugary, but I didn‘t feel any aftertaste of sunflower oil, so the impression was good enough.

The texture of Sunflower Halva with Vanilla and Chocolate Coating by Zolotoi Vek was also nice: neither powdery, nor soft (something inbetween). Can‘t say that I would want to eat such dessert frequently, but this one is recommended in case you are curious to taste the sunflower halva.
