Packaging of Macedonian Halva with Honey and Walnuts

Macedonian Halva with Honey and Walnuts by Haitoglou Bros. (est. 1924)

Let‘s present my recent gourmet discovery – Macedonian Halva with Honey and Walnuts by Haitoglou Bros. If you were in Greece you should have seen the jars of Greek honey with various nuts. Because they are sold almost everywhere. And you should know already how good this honey is! So, it will be easy to imagine the exquisite taste of Macedonian Halva with Honey and Walnuts.

Sure, it was very sweet, but the combination of Greek honey, walnuts and crushed sesame seeds simply astonished me… I‘d say this halva seemed just incredible and almost addictive! Let‘s state that I almost did not feel any bitterness, which was altered by the strong flavour of honey and walnuts. But it made this nourishing treat even more exceptional.

To be honest, the texture of Macedonian Halva with Honey and Walnuts could have been better, because it was quite juicy and even had some sticky crust. Nevertheless this halva is worth of your attention because of its amazing taste!
