Packaging of Achva halva

Achva Halva by Achva (est. 1929)

The bar of Achva Halva by Achva was one of the most delicious findings in Israel. Moreover that perfectly simple treat notably changed my attitude to plain halva. When it’s so good, you just focus on the pure taste and slowly enjoy every bite. Actually you understand that none of extra ingredients (like nuts, cocoa or chocolate) could make it better. That’s some kind of the complete delight.

Even the texture of Achva Halva appeared excelent – it was quite buttery but herewith sandy and easily cuttable. So, if you want to taste some Israeli halva, you already know what to look for. Finally, the bar of Achva Halva by Achva wasn’t very sweet or bitter, therefore its taste seemed very gentle, almost satiny. Most likely you gonna love it, too!
