Packaging of Oghab tahini halva (plain)

Tahini Halva (Plain) by Oghab Halva (est. 1944)

Oghab Halva pleased me once again, this time with Tahini Halva (Plain). If compared to usual Turkish or Greek sesame halva, this one is quite different, because of the strong flavour of cardamom. If compared to other sorts of Oghab Halva, which I previously reviewed, this one is more simple and has a much milder taste.

Still, the cardamom is dominating in it, so your possible satisfaction strongly relies on the fact, whether you love this spice or not. I like it pretty much, that’s the reason why this halva was a great enjoyment for me. For a moment I just submerged in some warm and sweet oblivion, which was spawn by this delicate Iranian treat.

I also appreciated quite soft (but firm enough) texture of this halva and its elegant, tasteful packaging. Hopefully, you will have a chance to try Tahini Halva (Plain) by Oghab Halva, too!
