Packaging of Olympos Halva with Almonds

Olympos Halva with Almonds by Papayianni Bros (est. 1949)

Let’s review today Olympos Halva with Almonds by Papayianni Bros. It is made in Greece based on the traditional recipe of the Papayiannis family.

First of all, contrary to simple package the taste of this halva was remarkable. A pretty sweet, but quite bitter dessert with a lot of crunchy almonds appeared really delicious to me. Finally, I clearly felt the subtle warmth in the mouth – an inherent sign of every good tahini halva.

The form and the texture of Olympos Halva with Almonds by Papayianni Bros was soft, but firm enough, so it was easy to cut it nicely. Definitely I could recommend this treat to everyone. But please note that discussed halva is really sugary. In my opinion it could have tasted better if not made so sweet.
